If you want him to wear diapers because you are tired of washing and changing his sheets, teach him how to do it. Try the plastic protective matress cover. tAnd he is a little old for spankings, anyways. You do sound like you have the apron strings tied a little too tight. You will evetually learn that you cannot control even most of the things in his life. You may do this because you care so much, but realize you are hurting him and stunting his maturity rather than sheltering him.
Ask him what HE thinks is a good solution. He is old enough to NOT wet his bed, then he is also old enough to think of a solution.
I agree with the above posts in that he doesn't mean to. He might have had something happen in his life recently (like a divorce or a sudden visit from his father or some embarrassing girl troubles at school or it could be any number of things or combination of things).
There are such things as Urogolists. In a nut shell, this is a doctor who deals with bed wetting. Ask his doctor to refer him to one.
I did not say these things to be rude. I said them the way I said them for lack of time to further explain what I mean. In any case, I have learned that straight-forwardness works well, so there it is. |
