Wow! That sounds exactly like my son. He has been having night terrors since he was 4 months old. After much trial and error I have narrowed it down to any medicine or anything containing ANY alchol. He can't even take baby tylonol, The new stain free motrin seems to agree with him. When he starts this I usually Blast one of his favorite videos(I'm sure the people upstairs love it,Elmo at 3:am) that usually snaps him out of it so I can comfort him. He doesn't wake fully up and has no recolection of it in the AM which eases my mind a bit:) Good Luck
