Maybe she's having separation anxiety again if this is a new problem. OR, she's been doing this all along and now it's hard to control. I think the older they get the more difficult it is to get them to comply. My son can't get out of his crib, so I don't even know how to tell you to stop that one! There are safety issues invovled if you try to somehow trap her in the room or the bed. So that's not really an option. From what I've read on this site, it's important to maintain the same ritual each night to so baby knows that it's time for bed. It might take weeks for your daughter to really comply with this. But if you stick to it she will eventually do it.
