HELP! Big jump in baby's head circumference????

I would appreciate any feedback--I am petrified!!! They want to do a ct scan on my 6 month old--had a jump from 40th percentile to 90th percentile at 4 month checkup. Visited another Dr at his 6 month appt and they have decided to do the CT scan--his head size is still at 90th percentile but rest of body not doing the same--height 25th and weight 10th. He is meeting all his milestones and is very happy--smiles at everyone and hardly cries. Anyone else experience anything like this?? What could it be?? How was the CT scan??? Thanks so much in advance for any answers--I am really scared.
