SUBJECT: separation anxiety
Hi, I tried to leave my 7 month old daughter in the gym nursery for the first time, but she started wailing after 20 minutes. I could tell she was scared. Is there anything I can do to ease her anxiety? She's never been in a childcare setting before (my in-laws take care of her twice a week but that's different). When does this period end and do I just need to wait it out? I don't want her to be scared but at the same time I just want to work out for an hour (and I think she would enjoy socializing with other babies). Thanks, EKW
