Hi I have the same problem, my son is one year old (today to be exact!) I have no idea what the problem is. I've done searches online, and in the aol parenting section it said that the attachment issues are stronger now. They said this can transfer into problems with sleep. David recently moved into his own room. He's been sleeping in his crib for awhile now, but he was in our room. Now that he's in another room, it takes AT LEAST an hour for us to get him quiet and settled. Then he wakes up two or three times during the night screaming and moaning. I go and comfort him, but he yells as soon as I put him down. Last night I got up at about 4:30 with him and gave him some fruit, sat on the couch and sang to him, then I put him back to bed. He fell asleep a little easier. Maybe if you develop a routine like this she'll quiet down and sleep.
