SUBJECT: Dilemma
I have a friend who has a 15 month old son.

She is a *really* good friend of mine, so we hang out a lot with the kids.

I have a 7 yr old, 5yr old, 21 month old and 9 month old.

I feel really bad saying this, but her son drives me NUTS.

He *screams* this blood curdling scream CONSTANTLY. He is rough, he pushes, he stands on my table, destroys flower arrangements, climbs onto my computer it goes on.

The *worst* thing he does is BITES my 9 month old on the head. I mean, takes chunks out of him!

Its been going on for months. He doesnt bother my 21 month old or the older girls, but its like Jonathans head hypnotizes him. He immediately goes up to him with his mouth open, wraps his arms around his head and BITES him.

I know my friend is mortified by this behavior, and I have never dealt with biters so I dont know what to tell her.

She says she cant put him in time out because she has no room for a Pack N Play (she really doesnt, her house is 600 sq feet) and that she cant repriman him because it is always too late by the time we finish comforting my son.

She took him to the Y for the first time in months (since hes been biting all the babies there too) and he bit a baby on the nose and made her bleed.

I seriously cancel or bag out on playdates with her because its just too much to a) listen to his crying and screaming the whole visit and b) not be able to put my son down for fear her son is going to bite him.

Any advice on how I can help her with the biting and what I can do in the meantime?

Thanks.
