SUBJECT: Amniocentisis
I would like to hear about other amniocentisis stories. I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second child and 36 yrs. old. I have a very "healthy" 2yr. old and my OBGYN suggests an amnio due to my age only. I am fearful of risks vs. benifits. I would hate to introduce the risk of a miscarriage to an otherwise perfect pregnancy and don't think I would terminate for Down's. Opinions please???
