I found that setting limits and sticking to them and not backing down and making Dad help set and keep them.My little ones 2 will be 3 in March 2004 and We take her every where we go and pray that she doesn't act so bad but most of the time she does act bad. The one way I handle her is to talk quietly to her or hope and pray the store or place we are going into has an arcade or a toy Dept. and if we are going to someones house I keep her outside and away from things that break (weather permitting) Or I just end my gabb session and take her home and remain there for the rest of the day. Boy you would not believe the advice I get from her 83year old great Grand Mother and her 60year old grand Mother. They want me to spank my child Know matter where we are and if people don't like it tell them not to look :) TO ALL MOTHERS HAVE PATIENCE and don't keep your child at home because of bad behavior it only makes it worse when you do take them some place. Take them to the park and take them to peoples house you know and knows your child UNLESS they lock the doors and pretend they are not home :)
