SUBJECT: Never talks in preschool!
Help! My 3 year old attends two different preschools and will not speak at all. She has stopped the crying when I leave for the most part...separation anxiety was a big problem but this has gotten much better. Now she refuses to speak to anyone at the schools. She just stares or shakes her head yes or no. She won't even participate in any activities. She doesn't get mad. When I ask her why she tells me "I don't want to". This is so frustrating - as soon as she gets home, she talks constantly, colors, makes crafts. She retains everything learned in school. She only attends the two schools part-time. The other days she is home with me (her mom). She is friendly and talkative around family members. Will this go away? Do I ignore it and quit asking her Why???
Help!!!!
