Well, if it helps ladies, mine is now 4.5 yo and he has outgrown that behavior. But he was right there with your child at 2 years old. I had to read a few parenting books to gain the tools to manage him as well as I could. I did need to have more skills than some parents. But the behavior goes away. So hang in there!

ps, you probably don't see many of these kids out and about because the parents keep them home just like you are! I'm betting there's more than we think.
