SUBJECT: Father can't stand behaviour
My toddler took a playphone to his sister's face today; out of the blue - no warning "whack" - right in the eye. She's 11 years old;she'll be ok. But hubby can't stand the boy. You can't take him (the two year old) anywhere. He runs away. He won't hold your hand. Not afraid of roads/cars, etc. He pushes other kids. He throws things constantly, doesn't want bath, doesn't want hair washed (screams bloody murder), doesn't want teeth brushed. So there I am in the middle between a screaming toddler and a man saying he can't stand the kid. His kid. How "other kids don't behave this way - I've never seen a kid behave this way, what's wrong with him". I don't know what to do. We've tried putting him in his room, talking to him, etc.
