 | I can put him on the potty to just try, and he will be off in his own world, unrolling the toilet paper and putting it in the toilet, or trying to grab what is on the back of the toilet. I give him a book to read sometimes, and he will sit there and look at it until he gets tired of it. But he still doesn't use the potty. He will occassionly tell me "Wan-go poo poo!" but when I look at his diaper, I notice he already has. I still put him on the potty to try, but nothing happens.
Am I not trying hard enough? Is he just not ready yet? Should I wait or should I pursue this even harder? I want him to start pre-school next semester (so I can go to school) but I am afraid he won't be potty trained by then. Are pre-schools particualr about the kids attending already being potty trained? I am embarrassed to send him to pre-school not potty trained, that they might think that he is slow or that I am a bad mom. I hope this is a silly notion. What are your thoughts on the subject.
