SUBJECT: Is Carnation Good Start Supreme equal to Similac/Enfamil in quality
My son has been on Similac since he was born. He was having problems with congestion and ezcema. My doc thought maybe the milk based Similac could be a cause of the congestion (but I think he just wanted to tell me something since I was there every other day it seems) so we switched to the Isomil (soy SImilac). The ezcema I believe was cleared up with a cream before we even switched to Soy so i don't think changing to Soy changed it. Now his stools have been thick and irregular for a while now and my doc gave me the ok to switch formula. I hear that Good Start is much easier on their belly so I have decided to switch. Now I am hearing mixed reviews. Is Carnation equal in quality and are there different rules as far as using it more quickly? I am so afraid b/c he has just in the last month started eating good. By the way he is 4 1/2 months old.
