I dated this guy about two and half years ago and i was only 13-14 almsot 15 when we broke up the first time. We stayed somewhat as friends and then i came back to public school where he is and my senior year we started going back out in october. I am now 17 almost 18 (turn in march) and i am still not allowed to date or anything! My grandparents have raised me and i deeply respect them but when it comes down to this they say he is no good. My brother has done the things he's done and we are christians and they forgave him, but they say it is N/A to my situation w/this boy. He is 16 and has grown up alot. Yes he's had sex w/ONE girl and he deeply regrets it and we've been together over a month. I dont know what to do. I haven't been so happy in so long and i dont find it fair that im constantly yelled at and punished for it. I've never been allowed to gooutw/friends unless i begged and i've gone on one date. I knwo they jsut want the best for me but isn't it time they let me make myown decisions? He's made mistakes but so have i.. i wish i knewhow to makethem understand that i am not going to ditch him just because they dont like him. Any advice on how to deal?
