I have now read a few of your replies to women in these situations. I, just tonight, posted a message for help with my 22 month old daughter. I didn't include that we have been to the doctor, he says "it's normal"! We have another appointment this week and I will dig deeper. My daughter and I "escaped" from her father about 4 months ago. The doctor knows every detail of what has happened in our lives. He is my entire family's doctor and one of us seems to be in his office about once every 2 weeks. Sometimes 3 times in one week. I have friends who work at his office. He is VERY aware of our life and what is going on. Am I just not asking the right questions? He has watched some of my daughters behavior first hand. She went through a stage where she would make herself vomit. She did it right there in front of him and neither of us looked at her. We kept eye contact with each other and agreed she was seeking attention and it was best to ignore her. That worked. It only happened about 4 times and that was long ago. You have actually frightened me with what you have recommended. I need for you to please read what I have posted and give me your feedback. I am stunned by what you have written these other women. I need your feedback on my situation. I have given you more info into our lives so you have the insight to explain better. Thank you! I truly appreciate any advise you can offer.
Kim
