 | My 22 month old daughter loves to play with her poop. She has been doing this for several months. I have tried duct-taping her diaper on at night, but she simply sticks her hand down there and must literally poop in her hand. Her diaper will remain clean! She gets it EVERYWHERE! She will come and wake me up at odd hours and say "EWWWWWWW" and show me her poop covered hands. This has happened over 30 times. I have tried everything I can think of and today I spanked her for it. I don't believe spanking will cure her because she told me she liked making mommy angry and liked getting spanked. She was shaking her head "Yes" to questions I was asking her. I am about to pull what is left of my hair out. One "poop" episode, she went into her 12 year old brothers room and covered it, and him in poop. You can imagine his mood when he woke up that morning! I have heard of kids doing this sort of thing, but not this often! Or to this degree. I am seriously washing rugs and bedsheets at least 4 times per week. Relatives and friends have nothing to offer. I need ideas! PLEASE HELP! Btw, she is potty training. She uses about 3 pull ups a day at daycare. At home it's 1 and then a diaper for bed. She knows what she is doing and I believe she likes it. Until the smell overwhelms her anyway. I was thinking I needed to buy her some play-dough and see if that helped. But she gets to play with that at daycare. She doesn't do this at daycare, just at home, during the middle of the night. My son NEVER did anything like this. He had potty trained himself at her age. Please give me anything you can offer! As I said, I am at a loss. Thank you!
