SUBJECT: Constipated & colic-formula?HELP
My 6 week old son has very irregular bowel movements. They were always explosive and came every other day maybe 2 days. At that time he was on Similac Advance. He has always seemed very gassy as well. He seems to like to scream every night from 7-12 or 1 a.m. Within the last two weeks he has been crying a lot more. I switched him to Isomil Advance 3 days ago thinking maybe that would help with the gas and fussiness. I had to give him a glycerin suppositorie 3 days ago-he went his usual explosive stuff.Today (3 more days w/out going) I gave him another and he went, however his poop is now getting hard. A friend suggested Nutramigen. I have no idea what to do, my mom thinks he's just difficult. Please help- my husband and I don't know what to do!!! Am going to call ped. Monaday.
