I found this website. This is a good one for the sensory intergration/disorder condition you suggested.

As no mother likes to have her child diagnosed with any "disorder", I think I will continue working with him. We have a well-baby appt coming up, so I may just ask his doc what he thinks.

I will say that I am very concerned about today's doctor being so eager to diagnos children with behavior conditions instead of parents taking responsibility for teaching the child what is right and wrong. I can't say that I will never allow my son to take meds for a behavioral problem, but I can say that will be the absolute last resort after musch research and consideration. I do not take this stuff as lightly as today's parents seem to.

I did like the idea of counting to three. I don't think my son will take that seriously. And since my son doesn't really have a favorite toy he cannot live without...taking it away cannot help either. However, these are good ideas. I can play with these ideas and come up with some combination that can work. Thank you for your post. I needed some good advise! I appreciate it.
