SUBJECT: Gassy Baby Boy
I have a 7 week old baby boy who is extremely gassy(especially during the evening hours) & his gas has a horrible odor. We use Dr. Browns bottles, Carnation Good Start & Mylicon Drops. He strains to push the gas out & also does this often in the evenings when he is feeding & sometimes gets a bit fussy/cries like it hurts. I was wondering if anyone knows much about Similac Lactose Free (before I switch his formula and screw everthing up! ha) & if they thought it might work to rid of the gas, since Good Start is milk-based but not lacto free. He was also diagnosed by a Dermatologist with seborrheic dermatitis, but he really didn't start breaking out with it until about a week after going on Good Start, which may just be ironic. Any and All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please email me at my work email jillp@nucentrix.net or home jillcurt@cableone.net as I don't check the message boards that often!
