SUBJECT: Worried about son's reaction once he goes to daycare
I will be registering my son at pre-school when he's 2 1/2 (next September). My son is very attached to me and a pretty sensitive little boy that I'm terrified he'll totally freak out. I know most kids are upset and cry for about a week or so but I'm scared that my son will react way beyond that period. Everyone says, your nuts and not to worry but I constantly worry about him and want him happy always. Is there any easy way to help him prepare for this change? thanks for any advice.
