SUBJECT: DAD NEEDS HELP FOR SCARED 3YR OLD BOY
I recently just moved my family from Ohio to Indiana for a job in Chicago. I have a three year old boy that recently has been scared to death of everything. He trembles. He watched mummys on discovery channel a few weeks ago, and then visited grandparents. They had no problems. He was very independent. Since he has been home (and Halloween has passed) he will not leave my wifes side. He won't even eat his cereal in the kitchen when my wife is in eye contact, 10ft from him. He is scared of her or I not being next to him. What can I do? I am worried about him and sick of the clingyness at the same time, but I don't want to do the "wrong" thing and damage him any further.
