AUTHOR: selfish | | | Well, I dont have good news for you, UNLESS you AND his daddy can make the change right now. Because if you dont, it will be there years down the road. I know. I have a 17 year old stepson, and have been with his daddy since he was 7. My suggestion to you is this: explain to your man exactly how it makes you feel. You, yourself, must make some hard decisions, if you dont want to be feeling this way later, or risk your relationship ending later. You cannot expect him to NOT utilize the three days he has with his child. You can however, get involved in their activities together. Make some plans that would be FUN for a sixyear old, and participate! If you can win the childs affections, things will be much much much easier later on. You knew when you fell in love with this man that he had a child. His priority is his child, and if you cannot let him do that, then you are headed for heartaches....sory to sound like IM being mean; Im just speaking from years of experience, and almost losing my marriage. | |  | |
