My 21 month old son is a "high pitched screamer." He really likes to scream in the grocery store when my attention is not aimed at him. I have tried getting down to his level and saying quietly "no-no, that hurts my ears, use your indoor voice, etc." I even try to destract him and begin to sing a song he likes. I feel I am doing what I am suppose to do in this situation, but It does not seem to be helping. He will pop right back up and scream again. I know consistancy is the key, but how much longer do I continue? It has been over 3 months that I have used this, is it going to work eventually? What do I do next?
