 | My son screams out of the blue. He usually does it when everything else is quiet. I think he does it to see how loud he can be, or to hear his own voice, or maybe to get our attention(boy, does it ever work). I know that our neighbors think we are pricking him with needles or something... LOL. I have no idea how to get him to stop. He does it in little spurts, so that by the time we get over there to stop him, he has already stopped. His screaches are high-pitched and really kills my ears. My husband's hearing is really sensitive, so it hurts him even more. I think I will try the advise given by someone else on the post that says to sit down on his level and talk to him about it, to calm him down. |
