I have recently had the same problems with my 14 mth old. He too is waking in the middle of the night .. at different times - and it starts with him screaming and crying inconsolably. We have tried rocking, tylonol, putting him in our bed and finally my husband will get up and play with him for a while. I'm afraid this will get his days and nights mixed up. He is also cutting teeth, but this has gone on now every night for the past 1 1/2 weeks!!!! I think I'm going to pull my hair out. I just started surfing today and came up with the whole 'night terror' idea. Please somone tell me something positive - and that this will pass SOON!
