 | I'd try to be the model of perfect behavior when dealing with the baby. When he yells, I'd demonstrate a few times how he should be acting. Tell him straight out how people respond to a crying baby, talk to him like an adult. Be calm, soothing, and responsive. If he continues to yell, tell him that he must go in his room until he is able to behave properly. You will not stand for it. If this doesn't work, make a rule for no yelling in the house. No one yells, ever. (Maybe he's mirroring an adult). If he yells he goes in his room. If the yelling is disturbing the baby and you even from his room, he goes in the backyard until he can behave properly. |
