I just took a home pregnancy test this morning, and discovered I'm pregnant - suprised, but overjoyed (my husband and I weren't actively "trying" yet!). Here's the hard part - we're remodeling the house, and I painted the bathroom this weekend (latex paint, well-ventilated area), and now I'm worried I may have done some damage (it looks like I'm 3 weeks along).
Also, I drank last Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (2 drinks each nite), which is more cause for concern. I am nervous as a cat, and the nurse at my clinic was not comforting this morning, saying, "well, there's nothing you can do now, is there?" I just want to see if there's any cause for real concern, and whether it's possible that I've done some damage...I am beyond myself with guilt and anxiety!
