Hi meg
I live in Pembroke pines Florida and my sin is also in the 4th grade. I believe that kids need recess to communicate with other children in a setting out of academics. I find that no recess breeds "misbehavior" in the classroom according to the teachers. Kids need this time even if its 15-20 minutes a day, They are still children and need to imteract as children. My son gets into trouble at lunch becuase he is fooling around to much. They need time to be children even at school. I am so glad you brought this up. Hopefully if we speak up they will listen.
