We have a 4 year old son together. I also have a 20 year old daughter who doesn't live with us now. We have been together for a little over 4 years. Their mom is now a stripper and walked out when the youngest was 8 months old.
Ever since our youngest was born the two have been awful to him. They are so mean and hurtful to him and myself. They don't listen and are rude. They visit their biological unit every Wednesday and every other weekend. She has since remarried, however, we just recently found out that she is, again, getting a divorce. The kids love their step dad who is really good with them, however, now they are worse than ever. Their mother has never growth up and fights in front of the kids, however, we really don't know what is being said, they just tell us they fight. Except when she is ragging about anything new we get as she tells them she is paying for it. Give me a break....she rarly pays her child support...has been put in jail once for nonpayment...I am a nurse and my husband is a manager...her little bit of money barley pays for soccer for the kids...where does she get off saying this stuff...she also said she paid for my schooling...come on.
I am very stressed over this...they are always blaming our youngest for everything...he is 4...their step dad was anouncing a soccer that my 10-year-old can't get his homework done becasue of my 4-year-old....come on...Now my 10-year-old is asking if we want him to live with us because he is always getting yelled at because of my 4-year-old. That is so not true...they get yelled at when needed....all of them do...let's blame everything on my 4-year-old. MY 10-year-old was caught doing chest compression on my 4-year-old...he could have killed him....I have always been afraid of leaving him alone with my 7-year-old as she is always hurting him. Yesterday, my 10-year-old halled off and hit him in the mouth for no apparent reason....and later in the day, after school, ,my 7-year-old scratched his face....Now I am afraid to even yell at them...who knows what they are telling their mother or what she is telling them. I am so unhappy....I don't know what to do. I love my step children but right now I am resenting them and don't even want to be around them. I can't discipline them, not that they listened anyway. It is just getting harder and harder....I love my husband but dealing with his ex and her antics, and the disrespect from the kids has got me on edge.....I don't know how much more of this I can take.....Does anyone have any advise????Please help. | |  | |
