 | Vent away! I understand completely. I agree with you about not ignoring this. As a mother, you just can't. It's impossible. And once you witness an actual passing out episode (hope you never do) it's 100 times more impossible to ignore. This last time, my neighbors witnessed it for the first time and they commented that they don't know how we deal with it. Before that, I'm sure they thought we were overreacting. And you are right. They are more prone to these episodes when they are overtired. So don't let anyone tell you what to do. You're doing exactly the right thing. And when he's older, you can tell him all the stuff he put you through!!!!! Hey, do people look at you like you're nuts when you're blowing in his face? Sometimes I feel that way. They have no idea what you're going through. My son usually does it only from pain of some sort. Not temper. But I've heard they can do it for either reason. I definetly don't think any child would do this on purpose. Like you said, there is a reason for it. Anyway, now my son is running a fever. That's what happens when school starts. Illness over and over. I hope he can go to school tomorrow. He has a Halloween parade and he's looking forward to it. As far as his birthday goes, just a family party. I was going to plan something bigger, but with all that's been going on I decided against it. Hey, I take it he's your only child right now. I have an older daughter who is 9. Another long message!!!!! Talk to you soon. Take care. |
