 | wow, I can't believe there aren't more discussions on this topic. Anyway, I'm about 14 weeks now, and pregnant for the first time. I am totaly clueless on how to shop. I keep hearing borrow the cloths from friends or relatives, but I don't know anyone whom I can borrow from. I'm starting to outgrow some of my cloths in the waist area and gravitating towards those huge grany underwear in the bottom of my underwear drawer. I'm stumped. Is there such a thing as maternity underwear?? Someone told me that later when I get really big, that I'll wear things either below my tummy, or above. I don't think I could wear somthing below, that sounds so uncomfortable. I'm to small to get those pants that have a big tummy pouch, but I fear that the elastic waist pants might still be a bit to restraining. The underwear thing baffels me. What about braws? I'm told I'll start to "leak" before I even give birth!!! Is this true? If so, when? I'm on a low budget and I keep hearing people tell me not to buy maternity wear, just big cloths, either way I figure they'll be of no use to me afterwards. HELP |
