SUBJECT: 5 1/2 year old having constant accidents
My 5 year old is having constant accidents,, this had started when he began school,,,now 2months We've tried everything,,,,He has gone through some major changes in the last 10 months of his life, from being adopted ,, he was a foster child for 3 years.... divorce in which the potential father decided not to take a part in his life, I also remarried,, he has a new father in his life who is absolutely wonderful but because of the decision my ex made he doesn't see him,, since he had decided not to take part in his adoption legally. Its hard to gage if the accidents are stress related and/or just him being to anxious at play especially while in school where most of the accidents are occurring. My hsuband is almost adamant that the accidents are due to his lack of attention to go,,, I've never seen my son act this way and tell me " he doesn't know if he wet his pants or not",, Currently we make him wash his pants/underpants out,, I'm trying my best to focus less attention to the whole situation. Other than this rare new behaviour my son hasn't exhited and other signs,, he is a very happy child and is very social ,,,doing well in school ect
