SUBJECT: going off birth control
My fiance and I are getting married next summer and due to schooling, want to conceive shortly after our wedding. I have seen a lot of discussions about how soon to go off the pill and I'm not sure when I should. I see some people are up to a year before getting a regular period, and some as soon as they go off. I have been on the pill for 10 years, went off it once and did not get a period for three months, so went back on. I don't know if I should wait for six months to go off or just go off now and make sure I'm regular by the time we're ready.
