Hey Spacone,
I'm wondering about his age ??? My son is the youngest in his class (1st grade) and he just turned 6 in August. Over half of the boys in the class are 7. Your son has to be the youngest there. I was told by many teachers, friends, professionals, to hold my son back a year so he matures but I didn't do it. He is doing wonderful but he IS more immature than the rest as far as I could see. His teacher agreed I did the right thing but continues to talk with me (and my son) about not acting out in class. You may want to look into this for your son. THere are plenty of articles on the web and at this site about holding boys back because they are almost always behind girls who are the same age.
