SUBJECT: Getting bitten at daycare
I have a 21 month old son who has been at his current daycare for 3 months and has been bitten at least 12 times. One day he got bit twice, a half hour apart. I took him out for a few days and when he returned things were better for a while. It is not always the same child biting. The center will not tell me who is doing the biting. They say that they meet the biters parents and try to enforce the same discipline at both home and daycare. I am really frustrated with all of this. My son really loves his center and is very happy there. I don't want to remove him but I can't stand seeing him with bite marks on him either. Any suggestions? I have talked to the director when this first started and she seems to understand my situation but it continues to happen. please help
