I have a few ideas... My son will be three in December so I know all about how they can be so stubborn. My son also wakes up at least once throughout the night- usually he's screaming and crying, he has nightmares. I just calm him and give him a drink and he goes back to sleep. That may not be the case with your family, but why is he waking up is the question, once we know why, we can solve the problem by getting to the root of it. anyways- the food thing- let him help make his lunches. Toddlers can spread peanut butter with a plastic knife, put carrot sticks into the baggie, that sort of thing. Also include things that he can "dip"
like ranch dressing for his carrots, ketchup for chicken, they love to dip. Just to eb sure you outta give him some pedia-sure and a flintstone vitamin. Oh and I have some good movies that I checked out from the library and bought at walmart- like sesame streets "Funny Food Songs" and Barney's "food is fun"- my baby walks around singing "Healthy foods, they taste so Good!"
Good luck!
