A county program worker just called and set up our first meeting for tomorrow. She's probably not going to meet Connor yet, it will be his nap time. She said it's basically a paperwork appointment and she doesn't have to meet him. So here's the start of it, I'll keep you updated on how it's going. If your doctor keeps telling you not to worry even after your baby turns nine months, I would push for an evaluation anyway. That's supposedly the cutoff time for the latest age to start babbling. On this website, they call it a red-flag milestone. I hope you have a doctor that listens to you and trusts your instincts. That's so important. Good luck!
