 | I've been looking for someone with this same problem that I'm now having. My 8 year old son is saying the same things to me; it truly is breaking my heart because I'm not sure how to deal with it. This is a new school for my son, and I think that 3rd graders are spirit breakers by nature. He has a great personality, is smart, good looking with a sense of humor to die for. Tonight, I'm stopping by the store for halloween cookies that he's taking to treat this class with, and if that doesn't break the ice for him and this class, I really don't know what else to do!
