What is your reaction to his vomiting? does he get his way when he does this. When he is not having a temper tantrum and things are smooth ask your son what he feels and how he feels when he doesn't get what it is he wants. Teach him words to express himself when he is mad or frustrated. Look through books and magazines or watch t.v. with the volume off and ask him what he thinks the people are feeling. Guide him to learn how to talk about his feeling. Let him know how you feel to. If your sitting in traffic say "mommy is upset with the traffic. I don't like sitting here in this car." "It hurts my heart where you are sad." he'll come to know that this his how people express themselves.
