The best way for a child to learn two languages is to begin with both as soon as possible. You should speak english and your husband spanish if possible. THis way the child will have to seperate contexts and environments for each language. This is actually the best way to do it. You may notice that your bilingual child will start to speak a bit later or mix up the two languages. This is normal as he tries to sort out the two structures in his mind! What a lucky kid to be able to learn two languages at the same time!
