| | | NEXT MESSAGE  | | | | | AUTHOR: | Mech | DATE: 10/18/03 7:16am | | SUBJECT: |  we screwed up, what do we do? | | | my wife and i screwed up and are very worried about the well being of our 5 year old son. we have been married over 10 years and after our children arrived things slowed down in the romance department so to speak. we came across a copy of the joy of sex and purchased it hoping to reignite the home fires. well, despite hiding the book well, our inquisitive 5 year old must have found the hiding place of this book and my wife just found it at the bottom of his toybox! he hasn't said anything and hasn't been acting differently, but we're worried and do not know how to deal with this, do we bring it up? pretend it never happened? should we be concerned that he may act out with his 2 year old sibling? the pictures were pretty graphic, not actual photographs but you could tell what was going on? we feel awful and hope someone can give us some good advice and that we haven't damaged him permanently by this.
