SUBJECT: please please help!!
Please just drop me a line so that i know i am not alone. my baby cries all of the time and we have been diagnosed with colic and reflux.

at two weeks old my baby girl was spitting up so we switched her from lipil formula to lactofree. this helped with the spitup but not with the crying. our ped told us that she just had colic and to basically deal with it. he gave us some levsin drops and told us that if it got bad enough to give her benedryl. that would help her rest. the levsin helped a little but only for a few days. i constantly called the doctor and he said that there was nothing he could do.

at five weeks she began spitting up more and the crying still had not ceased. sometimes she cries at night. sometimes after feeding. some times in the day. it lasts anywhere from 15-20 mins to hours and hours. i took her back to the doctor and he switched her to allimentum formula and we put her on doctor brown's bottles. he also put her on zantac and reglan and increased the amount of levsin. its been just over a week and we cant tell a change at all. i am about to my wits end! i have been staying with my mother for three weeks just for a little peace and rest since my husband has to be away at work for soo long.

should i change peds?? from what i can tell she is on all of the meds that she can be on for these two symptoms. i am at a standstill. i cant stand her to be on all of these drugs and i cant stand to see her hurt. do u think it could be something different? any suggestions or just words of encouragement would help...thank you so much for taking time to read this.
