SUBJECT: is it boredom or is it b/c he's teething?
my 5 1/2 month old just recently started getting very cranky and whiny. he used to be a very happy boy, always smiling and laughing at littlest things... no matter how i play with him now he won't laugh or smile, but he'll whine a lot and cry. if he sees something interesting, he'll play with it for a few minutes and get all cranky again. i know he's teething with all the drooling, putting everything insight to his mouth, but i'm not sure if teething is causing him to behave that way or if i'm just not entertaining enough for him. he's fine when we go out for a walk on the stroller but the weather hasn't been too cooperative. when i hold him, he'll grab and yank my hair or my ear or pinch my neck real hard and gives me a hicky. when he's drinking his formula he'll bite on the nipple and move it from side to side inside his mouth. he gets very fraustrated with teethers b/c he can't put it all the way inside his mouth i guess. has anyone tried baby oragel? does it work?
