Sounds hard on you as well as hard on your daughter. Is your relationship with the father now one where you can talk about this problem because it sounds to me like he is the one that can do most to help the situation.

Could you ask him to NOT go out and leave her with sitters for those two precious overnights he has her? And to do his best to follow the routines she lives with for the rest of the week, i.e. mealtimes, bathtimes, bedtime, etc?

Does she take her favourite toys, tapes, books with her? Your ex is either taking your daughter out of spite and therefore doesn´t give a monkey´s how unhappy she is or he truly wants to have a loving father/daughter relationship with her in which case he should be open to working with you to make your daughter´s visits more agreeable.
