SUBJECT: Prolonged Coughing caused by nasal infection
My son has been coughing for the past month, and it is especially bad at night. Yesterday, after a nasal X-ray, he was diagnosed with nasal infection. Since his nose passage is blocked up, the mucus is draining to his throat and causes him to cough. He was given 3 weeks of Amoxicilin(600mg). Do you think nasal infection are serious enough to take all the antibiotics. He has been taking 10 days of amoxicilin(400mg), and just finished last week.
Thanks!
