I am a home dc provider. Why would you think the baby wouldn't sleep well at the "sitter's"? The infants I watch eat and sleep on demand. usually they make their own schedule, but they get whatever they need. I don't personally know of a dc provider who would be able to keep a baby awake if they wanted to. The best advice I can give to you is to request the mom get a second opinion from a pediatrician. the mom also needs to offer the daycare provider's phone number in case he has questions. Perhaps you could accompany her to that appointment. good luck.
