 | 1) People should have that entire list of things you mentioned covered before they decide to concieve a baby. I would have not married my husband if he did not have the ablility to provide for me, and insurance to take care of me in case something happened. What kind of person has a child without thinking about all these things before hand? Let me take that back, what kind of educated, well brought up young lady would do something like that?
2) You sound like the most materialistic, selfish person in the world. You do not deserve to have a mother as good as yours obviously was. I can picture you now, the keeping up with the Joneses type, who drives a car it will take you years to pay off and a 30 year mortgage on a home you could never afford otherwise. You probably buy a lot on credit, don't you? I will appreciate your mother when I see her. You I am sure will not be seeing her again. It would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle.
3) Nice clothes and Disneyland is not going to keep your child off drugs and from having premarital sex. Having a parent will do that.
4) One of my good frinds is married to a lawyer. They are very wealthy as they both come from prominent families. Guess what her kids wear to school? Second hand clothes from the Salvation Army. They each get one present each on holidays and each year they give their old toys to the needy. They go to a cabin for their vacations and have vowed their children will not waste their time at places like Disney World. These are intelligent people who know that money does not make the world go around. The only people who think that are people who are pretending to be something they are not. |
