 | Well it really depends on the reason you have chosen to place your children in a Catholic school? I have 2 children as well. We have a very large extended family, most of the children attend public schools and do well in the public system academically, the distict is rated top 4 in the nation. I get a lot of critism from some of the family members, they think we're waisting our money when we could get the same level of education for free. My response to them and to you is that I have chosen to place and sacrifice our hard earned money in what we think is the biggest investment we will ever make in our lifetime. My husband and I have chosen to make our childrens moral and spiritual foundation a priority. We agreed that w/all secular influences, habbits, and teachings in public schools it would be in our childrens best interest to form there foundation w/christian values now. From the moment they wake in the morning to the minute before they lie down for bed, 7 days a week. Children are beginning to lose there innocence, it is important that GOD is part of their daily life, they will become young adults and hopefully they will know GOD is w/them always and their choices w/reflect on what is pleasing to GOD first, and not of the flesh. |
