SUBJECT: Refusing to use the toilet for B.M.'s
My six year old son has decided not to use the toilet for pooping. He would rather soil his clothes, miss ut on favorite activities / treats, than go poop in the toilet. He can do it. He had become very good at it. He went through kindergarten without a mis-hap. But now, he refuses to use the toilet. I don't recall any particular onstance that could have triggered this. He did have a bit of a problem when he ate some bologna I had picked up at a deli. It had the red plastic wrap around it (not like the Oscar Mayer you get at supermarket)He helped himself to some one day, and ate some of the plastic wrap. Well, of course it came out the other end, and that had him leery of pooping again. But he did, and now he refuses. He is otherwise healthy and normal (as normal as any 6 year old boy can be). I am about at my wits end. Please - if anyone has dealt with this, with success, I would greatly appreciate some feedback.
